Meet Thandolwethu

Thandolwethu is a resident in the Khayalethu Child and Youth Centre Senior K2 Programme. Here the boys are trained and supported to be able to cope in the world of work as well as gain the necessary skills, knowledge, attitudes and values needed in the work environment.

Thandolwethu is a studious and quietly confident young man who enjoys sporting activities such as soccer and karate. In 2024 the foundation sponsored the tuition and transport costs of a 4 week retail training course at Winforce Academy (a skills and placement centre) for Thandolwethu.

His short term goal is to be in full time employment and become independent. He aspires to become a Retail Manager in the future. This will make a difference in the lives of those family members who are dependent on him. 

Thandolwethu is a role model for the younger boys at Khayalethu as well. His immediate world will be made  better by his positive contribution.
