Meet Simamkele

Simamkele is a resident in the Khayalethu Child and Youth Centre Senior K2 Programme. Here the boys are trained and supported to be able to cope in the world of work as well as gain the necessary skills, knowledge, attitudes and values needed in the work environment.

Simamkele has good communication skills, he is a people's person and has excellent leadership potential. In 2025, Simamkele gained acceptance into the hospitality program at the Ray Mhlaba Skills Training Centre. The foundation sponsored all the transport expenses for the entire year.

Simamkele is passionate about working in a kitchen and would love to qualify as a chef one day.
