Meet Evaline

Evaline is a gentle, loving and hardworking single mother of two. She is a qualified journalist but does not currently work in journalism. In 2025, Evaline was sadly diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She moved in with her sister, who is helping to take care of her and her children, while she recovers.

In 2026, the foundation gave Evaline a 'foot up' by covering the cost of a second-hand washing machine for her and her sister to start a small laundry service business in their area. The income will help Evaline support her family while she focuses on healing from the cancer. 

Evaline's short term goal and prayer is to heal from cancer and to live to see the end of the year. She plans to help her local community by providing a laundry service which is a much needed service in the area. She also desires to support other, single moms and cancer sufferers in her community as she knows the real struggles that they face.
