Meet Salani

Salani is creative, dedicated and committed. She loves to work with her hands and in 2025 the foundation paid for her to complete a sewing course at the South African School of Hat Making. Salani completed the full basic to advanced skill in millinery course.

Salani's dream is to have a workshop where she can teach people to make a variety of different millinery items. She sees a gap in the market for selling materials needed for the trade and hopes to earn extra income in this way too.

Salani wants to help mold those in her community, who are interested in learning, by holding workshops, rewarding best designs and and learning together.
