Meet Jamaal

Jamaal is a hard working young gentleman and The Foot Up Foundation sponsored a plumbing course that he completed at the Eastern Cape Training Centre. He completed his formal training in May 2022 and is currently doing a four year apprenticeship with Currie Plumbers. He will do his trade exams, in 2026, which will result in him being a fully qualified plumber. 

Jamaal dreams of opening his own plumbing company one day; a company that will be ethical and offer excellent service to the community. His goal is to skill young men in the trade of plumbing in order to empower them to make a living for themselves.
